Student Equipment List

Equipment for Learning

To help students make the most of their learning, we ask that they come to school each day with the correct essential equipment. Having the right items helps students stay organised, confident, and ready for lessons.


Essential Items

All students should have:

  • Blue or black pens
  • Green pen (for corrections)
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • 30cm ruler
  • Scientific calculator – Casio fx-83GT X or Casio fx-83GT CW (as specified by the Maths Faculty)
  • Pair of compasses
  • Protractor
  • Dry-wipe board pen and small cloth
  • Student diary (provided free of charge by the school)
  • ParentPay card (issued free of charge; required for printer use)
  • Reading book (age appropriate)
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors (safety scissors suitable for school use)
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Coloured pencils (12 pack)
  • Highlighters
  • Hair bands (for students with long hair, required in PE, DT and Science)
  • Airtight plastic container for food products (approx. H 10–12cm, W 12–15cm, L 20–25cm)

Desirable Items

The following items are useful but not essential:

  • A watch (please note: smart watches are not permitted)
  • Collins Easy Learning French/Spanish dictionary (as required)
  • Mini English dictionary
  • Geometry set
  • Post-it notes
  • Drawing pencils (2B and 4B)
  • Fine liner pen
  • Grip socks or dance shoes (for Dance lessons)
  • Headphones with standard 3.5mm jack connection

Having the correct equipment helps students settle quickly into lessons and reduces disruption. We appreciate your support in ensuring your child is fully prepared each day.
