Half Term Break
We break up today, Friday 22 May, for the half term holiday and will return on Monday 1 June.
We wish all students, staff and families a safe and restful break, and look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed for the final half term of the year at The Blandford School.
Governing Body
At The Blandford School, we recognise the vital role that our Governors play in shaping the strategic direction, leadership, and long-term vision of the school. Their work ensures that we remain focused on delivering the highest standards of education and wellbeing for every student.
We believe that effective governance is built on a deep understanding of the school’s day-to-day life, informed by regular engagement with staff, scrutiny of performance data, and purposeful visits during the working school day. Our Governors are actively involved, bringing both challenge and support to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
Their commitment and insight help us maintain a strong, forward-looking culture — one that reflects our values and serves our community with integrity and ambition.
