Support and Wellbeing
At The Blandford School Sixth Form, student support and wellbeing are our top priority. Dedicated welfare support is provided by Mrs Hannah Rendell, offering expert guidance on mental health and wellbeing. Our tutors and Heads of Year know each student personally and are always available to offer guidance, advice, or just a listening ear. Regular 1:1 sessions with tutors ensure that every student has the opportunity to discuss their progress, wellbeing, or any concerns.
Students also have access to our Student Support Worker, Kirsty Radford, and can be referred to the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) if needed. Every member of staff is committed to supporting students, helping them thrive both academically and personally, and ensuring they feel safe, valued, and understood throughout their Sixth Form journey.
