Inclusion Base Lead

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, resilient and highly organised Inclusion Base Lead to support some of our most vulnerable students at The Blandford School. This is a new and exciting role within the school, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to help shape both the strategic and day-to-day development of our Inclusion Base provision.

Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour for Learning and the wider pastoral team, the Inclusion Base Lead will play a key role in helping students re-engage positively with school life.

The successful candidate will coordinate learning and support for students who have been internally isolated, relocated from lessons or require additional behavioural and emotional support. They will build positive relationships with students, staff and families, using restorative approaches and mentoring strategies to help students develop self-regulation, resilience and improved behaviour for learning.

This role would suit someone with experience of working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting who is passionate about inclusion, student wellbeing and helping every young person succeed.
