Welcome to The Blandford School

The Blandford School is a successful 11–18 secondary school and sixth form with approximately 1,000 students on roll. Most students join us in Year 7 and a high proportion continue through to Year 13. Our strong reputation also attracts students from outside the local area, as well as young people who have previously been educated in the independent sector.

Year 6 to Year 7 Admissions

Parents and carers of students transitioning from Year 6 to Year 7 will receive login details for our online admissions system, Applicaa.

In-Year Admissions

For all other admissions during the school year, applications should be made via Dorset Council:
