LOCKER POLICY
Locker Use – Important Information
Please read and follow the guidance below regarding the use of student lockers:
- Lockers must not be decorated or altered in any way. Please remember that a locker is allocated for one academic year only.
- Any damage caused to your locker, or to another student’s locker, will result in the full cost of repair being charged.
- Students are responsible for keeping their locker key safe. If a key is lost, the £3 deposit will be forfeited. Replacement keys are available at a cost of £3.
- Lockers must only be used for your own belongings. You must not store items for other students.
- If you forget your key, please report to Guidance and Welfare. Access to your locker will be arranged at a suitable time, which may be during break or lunchtime.
- Students who regularly forget their locker key may be asked to make alternative arrangements.
- It is strongly recommended that you attach your key to a keyring to help prevent loss.
- Lockers cannot be accessed during lesson time.
- Locker areas are supervised by staff. Students should also remain vigilant and report any damage, suspicious activity, or attempted theft immediately to a member of staff.
- Once you have used your locker, please leave the area promptly.
- Students are advised not to bring valuable items into school. The school cannot accept responsibility for any loss or theft of personal belongings.
