Why choose the Level 3 Diploma in HSC?
The Diploma is worth the same UCAS points as two A levels.
This course is the ideal choice for any student wishing to pursue a health, medical-related, education or social care vocational university degree, apprenticeship or employment. As a vocational course it prepares students effectively for all these roles. The course has been developed to meet the changing needs of the sector and prepares students for the challenges they’ll face in Higher Education or employment. Designed in collaboration with experts spanning the breadth of the sector, the Diploma focuses on the skills, knowledge and understanding that today’s universities and employer’s demand. Students will practically apply their skills and knowledge in preparation for further study or the workplace.

All students will study 12 units of work.

How you will be assessed in Level 3 Diploma in HSC.
Five of your units will be externally assessed with exams (E) in January and June. All other units will be internally assessed coursework units (C)

This vocational course links directly to a vast range of progression paths and careers.
Students have progressed into careers such as nursing, teaching, midwifery, occupational therapy, early years, art therapy, social work, health visiting, radiography, ophthalmology, dietician and other related professions.
