Sixth Form Expectations
Conduct and Community
Sixth Formers are role models. All students are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, peers, and younger students; use appropriate language; and uphold an inclusive environment. Smoking, vaping, alcohol, drugs, and related substances are strictly prohibited. Mobile phones may only be used in designated areas and at specified times.
Use of Facilities
Students must treat all Sixth Form spaces with care, keeping areas tidy and reporting damage promptly. This includes the Sixth Form Centre, the Hub, the library, and shared facilities. Only TBS Sixth Form students may enter the Sixth Form Centre, and doors must remain closed for safety. Laptops and IT equipment must be used responsibly and returned for charging.
Safety and Responsibility
Students must sign in and out when leaving the site, report illness appropriately, and ensure secure access to buildings. Safe and considerate driving and parking are essential.
Work Ethic
Students are expected to attend all lessons, registration, and assemblies punctually and to make appointments outside lesson times where possible. Work must be completed to a good standard and deadlines met. Supervised Study should be used effectively, with minimal distractions. Students must maintain at least 90% attendance to qualify for free exam entry.
