Essential Equipment for Students

Essential Equipment 

To ensure students are fully prepared for their lessons, we have compiled a list of essential items that will help support their learning and participation. Students should have the following items for each lesson.

Essential Items

  • Blue or Black Pens

  • Green Pens for Corrections

  • Pencil

  • Eraser

  • Ruler (30cm long)

  • Glue

  • Safety Scissors (designed for school use)

  • Sharpener

  • 12 Colouring Pencils

  • Highlighters

  • Dry-Wipe Board Pen and Small Cloth

  • Student Diary (provided free of charge)

  • Good Scientific Calculator (Casio fx-83GT X or Casio fx-83GT CW, as specified by the Maths department) 

  • Pair of Compasses

  • Protractor

  • Parent Pay Card (essential for using printers at no cost, one card provided free)

  • Reading Book (age-appropriate)

  • Hair Bands (for long hair in PE, DT, and Science)

  • Airtight Plastic Container (for taking food products home – approx. H 10-12cm, W 12-15cm, L 20-25cm)

Desirable Items

  • A Watch (please note, smart watches are not permitted)

  • Collins Easy Learning French/Spanish Dictionary (as required)

  • Mini English Dictionary

  • Geometry Set

  • Post-it Notes

  • Drawing Pencils (2B and 4B)

  • Fine Liner Pen

  • Grip Socks/Dance Shoes (for Dance lessons)

  • Headphones (small 3.5mm jack connector)
