Year 11 Prom Celebrates Students’ Journey in Style
The Blandford School’s Year 11 Prom was a fantastic celebration of our students’ achievements, marking the end of an important chapter in their school journey.
Students arrived at The Blandford School in true style, with some incredible and unforgettable transport choices. From supercars and army vehicles to tractors, motorbikes, and even an ice cream van, our students certainly knew how to make an entrance! Proud parents, carers, and staff gathered to watch the arrivals and celebrate this special moment with them.
After their grand arrivals, students boarded a specially commissioned vintage-style bus, kindly provided by Damory Coaches, who transported our students to their evening celebration at The Crown Hotel completely free of charge. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and support in helping make the evening so memorable.
A huge thank you also goes to Rob Young Images, who captured the arrivals with some amazing photographs, again volunteering his time and skills at no cost to the school. These fantastic images provide a wonderful record of the occasion and showcase just how much effort our students put into making their entrance one to remember.
We would also like to thank Justin Grearson Entertainment for helping to create such a fantastic atmosphere, Insight Security for their support, and Cards, Gifts & Balloons for their amazing decorations, which helped transform the venue and make the evening feel truly special.
A huge thank you also goes to the team at The Crown Hotel for helping to host such a memorable celebration, and to everyone who supported the event behind the scenes.
A special thank you goes to Maisie Wheatley, Head of Year 11, and Leanne Newman, Year 11 Guidance and Welfare Officer, who organised the prom and worked incredibly hard to create such a brilliant celebration for our students.
It was a wonderful evening full of smiles, laughter, and memories that our Year 11 students will treasure for years to come. We are incredibly proud of them and wish them every success as they move on to the next stage of their journey.
