Volunteers Needed for Mock Interview Day 2026

Friday 3rd July 2026

The Blandford School is seeking volunteers to support our annual Mock Interview Day, an invaluable opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience of the interview process and develop the confidence and skills needed for life beyond school.

We are looking for individuals from all backgrounds who have life experience, a good understanding of the world of work and strong interpersonal skills. Whether you work in business, healthcare, education, the public sector, trades, the arts or are retired, your knowledge and experience can make a real difference to our students.

Mock Interview Day provides students with the chance to practise their interview techniques in a realistic setting, receive constructive feedback and gain a greater understanding of employer expectations. The experience has proven extremely beneficial over many years, helping students feel more prepared for future education, training and employment opportunities.

Volunteers will be asked to arrive at 11.00am on Friday 3rd July 2026, with interviews taking place from 11.20am until approximately 1.15pm. Interview questions and guidance will be provided, and students will attend dressed in business attire.

As rewarding as our students find the experience, many of our volunteers tell us they also enjoy meeting and encouraging the next generation as they prepare for their futures.

If you are able to help, please complete the volunteer registration form below:
