The Blandford School Careers Fair 2026

The Blandford School is delighted to be hosting its annual Careers Fair on Thursday 9th July 2026, bringing together employers, training providers, colleges, universities and industry professionals from across the region.

The event is designed to inspire students by providing direct access to a wide range of career pathways, helping them explore future opportunities and gain valuable insight into the world of work.

Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from a variety of sectors, ask questions about careers and qualifications, and learn more about the skills and experiences employers are looking for.

The Careers Fair will take place in the Main Hall (Block 5), with additional exhibitors located outside the front of Reception.

Student Sessions

9:30am – 10:15am

Opening session in The Forum Centre for SEND students.

10:15am – 11:15am

Year 10 Careers Fair session.

11:15am – 12:15pm

Visiting students from local schools.

12:35pm – 1:35pm

Year 9 Careers Fair session.

2:15pm – 3:15pm

Year 8 and Year 12 Careers Fair session.

Open Community Event

3:30pm – 5:30pm

Parents, carers and returning Year 11 students are warmly invited to attend our community Careers Fair session.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet employers, apprenticeship providers, colleges and universities, gather information about future pathways, and discuss opportunities available after school and post-16 education.

Whether you are considering apprenticeships, university, technical qualifications or employment routes, there will be a wealth of information and advice available.
