A Fantastic Celebration of Competition and House Spirit

Students at The Blandford School enjoyed a brilliant Sports Day filled with determination, teamwork and plenty of house spirit.

The event saw students from Lacy (Green), Beaumont (Blue), Montfort (Yellow) and Lancaster (Red) compete across a range of track and field events, with everyone showing fantastic effort, perseverance and support for their teammates.

From sprint races and relays to field events, students embraced the challenge and represented their houses with pride. The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, with students encouraging each other and celebrating each other's achievements.

Congratulations go to Lancaster House, who were crowned our 2026 Sports Day Champions following an excellent day of competition.

There were further celebrations for Montfort House, who achieved the highest number of points across all house competitions throughout the academic year and were named our Overall House Points Champions. This is a fantastic achievement and recognises the continued commitment, teamwork and participation of students across the year.

A huge thank you goes to all of the staff who organised and supported the event, our student leaders who helped throughout the day, and every student who took part and made it such a memorable occasion.

We would also like to say a special thank you to Rob Young Images, who kindly gave up his time to photograph the day completely free of charge. Rob captured some fantastic moments that showcase the energy, enthusiasm and enjoyment of Sports Day. We are incredibly grateful for his support and generosity.
